Cooling fan problem

2007 bmw 328xi was hit in the front. Since I'm a "do it myself" guy, I fixed it myself..only thing I need is the cooling fan won't turn on. I'm just wondering if anyone has the wiring diagram for the cooling fan from the car to where it connects to the fan. Thank you.

I should've included that the wiring from the car comes all the way to the fan, but it only has 3 wires, the fan needs 4 tho, I'm just wondering which wire I'm missing.

bump. I know this is an older thread but I've searched and searched and this is the only one that describes the same problem as mine...

Anyone know any way to fix this? I have a manual 325i 2006, and I'm guess the extra wire on the fan is for an Automatic. My car only has 3 wires coming from the connector.

I know this is old but im going through the same issue now. My car also hit in the front and i rebuilt the whole front end. Everything is good to go expect that the cooling fan wont turn on. All sensors are working, thermostat and water pump are ok, bleeding procedure done.

The fan has 4 wires coming out of it.. 1 positive, 1 negative, a yellow thin wire, and a black thin wire.

The vehicle (2007 328xi automatic 33k miles) has 3 wires coming from the socket...1 pos, 1 neg, and 1 thin black wire.

someone please help... IF ANYONE HAS THE WIRING DIAGRAM FOR THE RADIATOR FAN WIRES PLEASE SHARE.

thank you

You don't have enough posts to do that.

Mine thas three wires, a thick red and black (positive and negative) and a thin green one. The red one has 12V+ as soon as the ECU comes on. The green one is the (pulse signal I guess) control wire from the ECU. It provides the variable fan speed control etc.
