Insurance for 335d or 335i
A bit late for me, since I've just renewed my insurance, but I'm interested to know what you guys are paying to insure your 335d/335i in the UK.
I just renewed with Zurich at 670 Pounds - this is at 65% no claims bonus, and does include no-claims protection. I had several quotes around 750 so this seems pretty good, the only catch is that this particular policy doesn't cover modified cars, so no DMS remap for me this year. I suppose I should mention that I'm 43 and had my last accident 4.5 years ago (not my fault) and I do 20k miles per year - and this includes business use.

Yep, this looks like a pretty good price.
I use BMW insurance expecting it to be the most expensive, they were actually the cheapest by quite a bit... I pay £640,00 pa for my 330d M Sport including Business use. Maybe give them a try next year!

I use tesco and they were by far the cheapest and i have found them to be absolutely superb over the years in every way. Surprisingly!
mine is over £1000 but im only 25 and i have points. bmw insurance is actually cheap like the guy above says. The price was almost identical to tesco. then i realised they use the same insurance company. UKI or something. |

I had quotes circa £3000 from all the main insurance co's and quite a few specialist ones. Then I went to Privilege who did it for £1060 - not bad given I'm 23 y/o, 3 years ncb and points!

Had my 335i SE coupe insured with Sainsbury’s was £441.00 10 years+ protected no claims bonus with £200 excess age 49 just changed to a 335i M sport saloon went up £40 with 11 Months left to run More than quoted nearly £80 cheaper but my post code wasn’t recognised (new built house) so they wouldn’t give me cover

I'm around £400 per year (stayed with existing company that the Z4 was insured with - Admiral) and ended up paying an additional £55 for the next 8 months. Clean license, 11+ NCB, protected NCB, 32 years old, total excess £250 - for a 325i (I actually declared the options of leather sports seats and 18" wheels)
Hmmm - just realised the two people under 30 are the only ones that have said they have points -tsk tsk
