Destination & Handling Charge?

On all the price sheets I have seen on this forum as well as edmunds, kbb, etc., the destination and handling charge is $695. I was quoted a charge of $995 from the dealer. Did they make a mistake or are they trying to pull something? Oh, and I'm planning on doing PCD so there shouldn't be any difference.

I would go to another dealer. I'm also doing PCD and mine was $695.

Whether it was an error or deliberate I wouldn't trust them to get the PCD right.

Mine was $695--sounds shady to me....

What are they quoting for doc fees? If they are trying to get an extra $300 on the delivery charge, can't imagine what crap they would try and pull for the doc fees (mine were $99).

Title and registration fees are additional, I didn't get exact #'s on those. Since this was the first dealer that I obtained firm pricing from, I will now seek additional offers from competiting dealers.
