Sure can!

On the new iDrive, simply press the options button, or move the controller to the right, and there's a little tick box!

CHG,

I tried this whilst listening to music off USB and it only works for tracks within the folder you are currently in. So if you organise your albums/artists in seperate folders which I imagine most will, then it will only skip tracks within that album/folder if that makes sense.

I was hoping it would randomly select tracks from the entire stick/folder structure but sadly it didn't appear to work like that from me. Am I doing something wrong??

Not sure about USB - I use my iPod in the car, so just shuffle playlist/artist/album or the entire library

Sorry I can't help you any further

with usb playback you can quickly set a playlist of 'all' and then set that to random, but i don't think you can set the folders to random as when manually playing a folder it will only play that folder on a loop.
