mp3 cd
Hey,
not having the luxury of a hdd based pro nav.. i'm going to stick a few CDs on a disc as mp3s.. so some quick questions really. can i dump them all in the root and the system will pick up the meta tags of the files and cleverly arrange them into albums? or do i need to put them in folders myself? leading on from that.. do the files need to be named correctly or does the system read the meta tags of files for track names etc? would look in my manual, but don't have it to hand thanks! chris |

I write each album into a separate folder which allows some navigation and it shows the name of the folder.
It shows the track name and not the title so you always get the ".mp3" tacked onto the end. Unless they are really short titles, there isn't enough room on the display to show the entire title unless you use the LIST button to display the two lines. |
