GP Thunders different colors....

I just installed a set of 8500k GP Thunder V2s for my angel eyes. The bulbs are different colors. I picked them up from E92-Lighting. Its hard to see in the pictures but the driver side has more of a bright white/blue tint to it where the passenger side has more of a purpleish type tint and not as bright. The bulbs look EXACTLY the same, no markings on them if one is a 7500 or 8500. They came in an unopened package. Has anyone seen this before?

Its hard to see in these pics, but in person its pretty clear.

There are problems with the GP thunder bulbs as they're not stable:

Thanks for the link. His issue is exactly the same as mine. Its interesting though that he bought the same bulbs off ebay and now its fine. I wonder why?

Is there any other good replacement H8 bulb available or do I have to look into LEDs?
