do these lips get past parking blocks i,e are they high enough?

parking bumps no but this is a really good looking lip for the e92 especially since it's OEM(if u don't go aftermarket). If I had an e92 I would get this lip over a mtech bumper cheaper too

As far as ground clearance goes, the Aero Lip is no lower than the factory front edge - just looks deceiving.
It does, however, stick out further forward of the car obviously, so care needs to be taken as to how close you get to objects such as curbs, etc.

I put one of these on my 07 E92. It's actually only a fraction of an inch lower than the stock bumper. It bolts up tight to the existing bumper with only the thickness of the Lip being "lower" than the Stock bumper. The shape of the lips make it look like it dips a lot lower, but it doesn't really.
