335 sport springs....H+R, Eibach, etc.....

Anyone know when a set of aftermarket sport springs will be avaiable for the 335 ?

I know there is a new part # for the e90 335 with H+R as compared to the 330.

Anyone have any inside info ?
I want to lower the car just a little bit.
I had H+Rs on my e46 ZHP and was very happy.

Thanks,

kj

H&R sports for the e90 will fit on the e92. Drop is approx 1.2" rear and 1.3" front, if I am not mistaken.

Personally I would wait for an E92 specific solution (there may already be one as H&R lists different part #'s for the cars on their website) Weight distriburion of a car is a delicate thing, and while I am sure the e90 springs "work" ie lower the car to a visually pleasing level without destroying the ride, might as well have those german engineers put in some work and do some testing on the E92. On the audi S4 platform H&R had a specific spring for the wagon which weighed almost the same as the sedan but the weight was distributed differently.

Got any pics? I am thinking that would be perfect, as the front of the E92 is noticably higher.
I would like to see the finished look!

It is perfect - no pics. 1.25" was perfect in the front. The springs are specifically made for the e92.

I am concerened about the back on mine. Right now with my 19's the rear looks perfect. I don't want to drop it much, if any at all. That is why i wanted to see it.

I am going to put out a pic request, I think that would be easier.

Shots some pics today. Excuse the mess, I got it undercoated to. Total drop was 0.9 rear and 1.0 front, it should settle about another 1/3rd of an inch. I think it makes a world of difference in the stance of the car, especially up front.

Before drop:

did you have the sport package prior to drop?

also guys, the front may be higher due to the weight of 2 drivers... then it would level out?

All e92 335is have the sport suspension, but yes I also got the sport package (which is basically just the seats). The front well is higher because the wheels have more of a turning radius in front, it's like that on most cars.

Yes; one of my customers had them on his space grey coupe (not sure if he is on e90post). He isn't rubbing, but I think he would rub with 19's; it's pretty tight in the rear; looks too slammed imo. I'll see if I can get him to take a pic.

I'll see what I can do next time I see him.

I'm looking at Koni FSD's, might do it in the spring.
