What I am paying for 2011 335is

In New Orleans;
335is black sapphire, DCT, premium pkg, HK premium sound, iPhone integration
MSRP = $56,725
Invoice = $52,200

My local dealer reduced price to $53,950. I asked for better, she knocked off another $400 bringing it down to $53,550 which is $900 a month lease. I called a dealer one hour away and his first offer was $52,495 and offered me an $850 a month, 36K/15,000 lease. Which I could get to $800 per month but doesn't look like that will be doable unless I drop to 12,000 miles or put money down.

Congratulations. I really like the 335is. Rumor is that the 2011MY will be the last for the current 3-series, so hopefully people will be able to get some good deals.

Try and get no more than $1,000 a month over invoice that seems to be a general rule of thumb.

I ordered my 335ix Coupe in July for $1k over invoice.

335ix Coupe
Blue Water
Dakota Grey
M Sport
Premium Package
Upgraded Audio
Misc - iPod adpator, Powershade, etc.

Very easy to get to that level in opinion.

Car is on a ship almost 1/2 way across the Atlantic now!

$1000 over is good, anyone offering 200 and something over invoice is getting you somewhere when you show up.

The price is good, the lease payment sucks... What is the residual and the MF on this lease?? Make sure you are getting the base rate on the MF with no dealer markup... That is how they try and rape you on leases... Also, consider multiple security deposists (do a serach for more info), but basically you can put up to 8 security deposists down, each one lowers the money factor by 0.00007 and they are all refundable at the end of the lease... Much better than cost cap reduction, and the actual return on your money from doing the MSD's is a tax free 13% (proven and calculated by many people)

You know when you get a loan from the bank they make money off you right? The dealerships marks up the MF to pay the finance manager, would you rather they not pay him or pay him, the client advisor, the sales manager, and the light bill from that 1000 over invoice?

I just checked the BMW USA website yesterday and they are showing a lease special of $579/mo (I believe) for the 335is. It may not be as fully loaded as some may prefer, but that is hard to beat.

Maybe it's the last year for E90, but definitely not E92.
