Pray for me E90Post

History of my E92 thus far:

11/06 Build

1. 1st fuel pump replacement around 19k miles due to recall, not because it failed

2. 20k miles new camshaft, camshaft ledge, ALL vanos components (both acutators, pulse wheel and solenoids)

3. 40k miles new injectors (6)

4. 48k miles new turbos due to wastegate rattle

5. 49,800 new seat belt butler and new programming.

6. 50,003 miles (long cranks) *sigh* at least the fuel pump is warrantied for another few years.

Overall I had to have a lot of patience with this car, but between all the shop visits, the car has been such a blast. I am a bit afraid of post warranty repairs, but most of the large ticket items have been replaced recently (injectors and turbos) and the HPFP is still under warranty. I was debating on 3rd party warranties, but it seems people have had a lot of mixed reviews on those.

Anyways...good thoughts for the good health of my E92.

I was quoted upwards of $5,000 I would rather put that cash in the rainy day fund.

You should've lemoned that thing a long time ago. Call BMWNA and have 'em open a case. If nothing else they'll comp an extended warranty.
