07 e90 ZSP 18's tire fitment
So we picked up an 07 e90 335i 6sp ZSP for the wife and are looking for some summer wheels for her.
Now we auto-x/track MR2's and a miata so we want something light with as much rubber you can fit on the car for the street and maybe some Auto-X. We are looking at two different wheels in 18's. VB3's although they are 23lbs kinda a bit heavy and the APEX ARC-8's at 18-19lbs per are kinda nice for the price. Now the question is how much tire can we fit on these wheels without rubbing. I see most people are running 235f 265r and they seem a bit stretched on the wheels to me. Do you guys think that 245/40/18 Front and 275/35/18 rear would fit on the car and would they rub? Also does anyone have any pics of the ARC-8's on a e90? |

8.5 +40 front on our VB3's with 245's may have an issues on the inside as well as the outside. 235 is perfectly fine and is square on a 8.5" wheel. This goes for our 9.5" and 265 tire as well.
Since you have an E90, 275 rears can work at stock or sport height. Fender rolling may be required depending on the tire manufacturer with the +33 rear offset if lowered. -Charles@VMRWheels

Tires would be Hankook RS3's or Dunlop Z1's which probably run a bit wide. |
