Can't get 1920 X 1080 to work on new Asus 24"

Hey folks.

Not sure whats going on, but I have a Radeon 4850 (cheapy card until I new comp) but I can't get 1920 X 1080 to work on my monitor. It basically doesn't fill the entire screen. Maybe I'm looking for 1920 X 1200? But that's not an option to select in Windows Xp under Display properties, so I'm massively confused.

Thoughts?

Never mind, it was an "overlay" option in my Radeon card properties that auto adjusts it to 15% when an HDMI cable is detected. Set back to 0% and it looks wonderful!
