Remember guys, there's an awesome sticky right above this post!

Hey guys, I've been getting a load of PM's (like seriously, a lot) about how to take care of cars. Now that's totally cool, I love talking detailing and I appreciate the confidence you guys have in me that you're asking; but I wanted to remind everyone that DavidN wrote an absolutely killer post that's stickied at the top of this forum.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9145

His post goes over the most important part of detailing, washing & drying - I suggest you read that part very carefully as there is excellent advice given.

Of course if you guys still have questions definitely PM me or DavidN or one of the many other detailers on the site!

I am going to make a post soon about how I prep a new car, since a lot of the questions I'm getting are regarding that specifically. Cheers.

Results directly from DavidN's detail method in the sticky. It works! Separate bucket, sheepskin wash mitts. I didn't think Mother's suds up as nice as my Meguiar's Gold so I use that. Two waffle towels to dry(extremely necessary) and MF towels for the windows makes them spotless. I did my third coat of SG last week. This week was only wash and dry. Pic attached. Rims just got a coat of AIO and SG tonight. Doesn't look as good as some of Picus' jobs, but I'm sure that's just my camera's fault

Looks good, ICALL. And I agree that the sticky from DavidN is one of the most useful posts on this forum. Helped me a ton.
