Remap 335d Question
So im going to get my 335d remapped, and i need to book it.
So should you wait until the engine has been run in ? Or just have it done right away ? Does it matter either way ? If you should wait, then how long ? thanks! |

have people getting the xede done been waiting? Perhaps send a message to Shiv@vishnu would be informative. I don't know if there's a difference between the diesel engine and the gas engine.

when I was thinking about getting my 330d remapped, the response I was getting from several people at Hartge, AC, etc. was to wait for the engine to break in. This in general meant around 5.000km, I also got advice that with diesel might be better to wait until 10.000...
where do you want to get your remap done? |

I would advise against tuningbox; I tried one on my 330d and it was dreadful. The engine spluttered and smoked and I didn't dare even take it for a test drive. I was told by my remapper to wait until 5000km, but I did it at 11,000 just to be on the safe side.
