HIDs in e90 fogs

hey i plan on doing hids on my fog lights but im worried that the bulb will get to hot for the housing and maybe melt it tell me what you guys think....

Hids actually run at a lower temperature than halogens. I've got 6k on my fogs with a yellow overlay on lens.

Been running one for few months now, no problems, know a few people that have them also and nobody has reported any damages.

I say go for it.

Did any one got any isues when you had the kit install? Is the kit PNP? where did you get the HID kit from? Thanks for the info.

recommend that you get a 35w ballast instead of the 55w

Mine is a plug and play and have had no issues so far. I bought this HID kit a few years back for one of my previous cars.
