An important addition when upgrading your angels to 7500 / 8500 etc etc

Be sure to swap out your courtesy/ cornering lights (H3s) to match the same. I didn't and man, is it ugly LOL. Just ordered a set of H3 7500's from Derrick like yesterday. All white light and then BLAM! Ugly halogen yolky yellow when turning. Good thing I saw this when the valet pulled the car around the other week. Such a subtle, yet easily overlooked change!

Looks great! Just hope I don't blind anyone while turning. OPINION NEEDED:

Need an opinion:

Here is what I'm probably going with:
PLAN A:
GP 8500s in fogs
GP 7500s in angels
GP 7500s in cornering/ center lights
Factory Xenons

I also have my 2 old sets of Bimmian Xenesis 4000k bulbs

Should I throw the 4000's in anywhere?
Or stick with PLAN A?

Maybe this is a stupid question, but when you are referring to the "courtesy lights" are your referring to the fog lamps? I thought the fog lamps were the only H3's...

Reason I am asking is because I just purchased AE's from Derrick and want to make sure I order everything correctly the first time.

No- the center spotlights that illuminate when you turn

The "courtesy" lights. They also illuminate when you go in reverse.

Do you think it is safe to use these whiter but dimmer cornering lights?
I like my GP 7500Ks but they are definitely dimmer.

Yes. Same wattage.
You do understand that whiter light takes more energy to produce?

No I actually did not know that imperium- interesting!

Eh, they're not used all that much anyway. A candle can light the corners for me for all I care I just like the uniform color, which is far worse when they're all different like a christmas tree

No prob. I like my GP 7500k H8 for the angel eyes but am a bit leery about compromising safety.

Could someone confirm you can access the H3 bulb at the same time as the H8 angel eye bulb? Thanks

I should have mentioned, on an e90. I know you can access both H3 & H8 at the same time on an e92, just need confirmation if its the same on an e90.

Hey guys sorry for being stupid, but can someone point out which are the cornering lights? I see the two angel eyes, which I suppose he is NOT talking about, and then the orange blinker... Which one is the cornering light?

The center lights inside the inner angel eyes

Turn your wheel or put her in reverse to see them in action

Ya for sure. On my dad's E the turns are the fog lights so it doesn't look so great. This is certainly an innovative method.
