I'm considering painting my grilles matte black but still retaining the outer chrome trim, it looks like a tedious thing to tape up and paint correctly. Does anyone know if they sell grilles already like this or has anyone done this themselves, and if so may i see some pics?

you can take the whole thing apart and paint it.

I suggest either separating the outer for the inner piece (applies to E90 LCI / E92 grilles only ) and plastidipping the inner slats. If you have preLCI E90 grilles, you'll have to mask off the outer part. If you have E90 LCI/E92, you can purchase our matte black grilles and utilize only the inner slats in conjunction with the OEM chrome outer part.

yeah i have a pre lci e90, guess im gonna have to paint them myself, i dont know why these arent available, i personally think it would look really good
