turning light error help!

Turn on the car, no light error. use the left turning signal, no problem. use the right turning signal and i get an error (no light on sidemarker or turning bulb in headlight)

The light error will only come on if I use the right turning signal.

tried the sidemarker on the other side, it works no error
put in a new bulb, no error
re-seated the fuse, still same error.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

What error code do you get? The specific code will tell you either which bulb is not functioning or if it's something else, like your turn signal switch/circuitry. Also, you do have to turn the steering wheel off center to get the turn light to come on.

after a few very painful hours, found out that one of the wires in the headlight harness (pin 12) was grounded on the body of the car. Thanks for your help
