Thinking to go to procede from jb3 should I or shouldn't I
Hey guys I currently have a jb3 and I've had it for a few years, but after reading up on the procede I'm thinking about switching. Is there any tade in incentives? I like the auto tune alot so I don't have to worry about map switching, so does that mean I hook up the procede and that's it and what about adding mods will it adjust it self ? Any info welcome

Okay here's an unbiased opinion as I now have both tunes. Auto tuning is an amazing feature but it does have some learning time, so when adding in race gas etc for dragging, you wont see your tune adapt for at least 2 pulls (not 100% sure, but it does take a bit of WOT to adapt to any changes). JB3 is also kick ass and is a fun tune. Remember if you have had your JB3 for a while you will be able to get the new board with CAN in a few months.
There is a weird incentive to upgrade (pretty smart) by Shiv if you have a JB3 you get a $200 discount. If you send them your PnP harness $300 discount. Both tunes are excellent. I want to see what Terry does with the JB4. If you are worried about cash and you aren't in a hurry wait for the G4 board as you have a JB3 already, if you aren't satisfied get the PROcede. No sweat. |

For that, you get autotuning, wastegate compensation, timing control, in-dash gauge functionality, built-in code reading/clearing, downpipe fix, direct boost control, 6AT launch control, better driveabilty, more consistent power and a few other treats which Shiv has up his sleeves in the future. 2 week trial period too. But you wont return it when you see/feel the difference. Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions. -C |

You engagae your auto to D/S. Press the brakes and then gas pedal down to the floor. Then let go off the brakes when RPM hits 2600RPM. Watch it fly, especially if you have traction from an XI.

If you are thinking about it, why not try it out? You can always return it for a refund.
A bit OT, but what is the current status of how the V4 autotune works with the BMW performance engine tune?

Old maps will work, but autotune will not. You will have to contact Shiv. I already spoke to him about it. Great help!
EDIT: Auto tune WILL work, but not the way it was designed. Shiv will give you more info on how to fix that. |

I just recently switched from the jb3 2.0 to the procede v4 and the procede is just so much better. the throttle response is incredible it is definitely worth the upgrade. I havent tried the launch control yet but i will as soon as i get into my car today.

Is there a setting in Procede for RPMs pre-set to rev up for launch control ?

Would be nice for some one to create a similar video for 135/335 AT owners that have tune/flash with launch control "Launch Control for Dummies"
