So I being around this forum and having met and bought some stuff locally from fellow e90 members I have formulated several ideas in how we can get aftermarket mods for cheaper.

Disclaimer: This thread is not for sponsors or people that have already done up their cars with hamann or ACS products and want to criticize the quality or reputation behind the businesses involved in the group buy transactions.


So figuring out group buys = discounts in mod shops... and most mod shops go through manufacturer -> distributor -> mod shop

I wanted to go directly to the manufacturer and see what kind of deals we can get.

My first test was finding some Angel eyes as they range from $100-$300, I have noticed most are competing at how much brighter they are from competitors in a complete dark black room etc...

from what I have seen I am satisfied with the mid-ranged priced angel eyes that are 3x-5x times brighter and white the OEM....

I contacted a reputably hong kong manufacturer for E90 angel eyes and they sell the following spec.:
LED Qty. 2pc 3W LED
Current: 0.54A
Power:6.48A
VoltC 9-14V
Size:63.24*51.92
Color:White, Blue,Red, Green
Suits for E90/E91


for a set of 5:
35US each , 175 total
35 s/h, 210 total

They said they would mark down the invoice sent so that tariff and tax would be at minimal which I would run at $20

Which in total + currency exchange would end up costing about $50 CAD

It would be local so we could all pickup in downtown toronto at convenient times


Also was looking at Front splitters ranging at M-tech style $60, splitters all ...

3w leds can be bought for cheaper than that, you can ebay it. I would be interested in splitters and spoilers though. Do you have an estimate of the price for LCI splitters for non-MTech?

Ok so updates:

1) E90 Angel Eyes - Are 150-200 Lumens each, slighly comparable to MyCard, preditor, Racing dash... PIAA are slighly brighter at 300-400, LUX 5.0 a massive 450-500

2) I'm going to find out on the Pre-LCI Splitters and Spoilers...Maybe we can get a good deal.. going to contact some manufacturers for details.. and make sure fitment is guaranteed

Those prices are really good. OP do you know if they are painted to OEM colors? Those are great prices, I'm interested in AF-BMWE90-RS002 and CS-BMWE92-RTS006.

I'm interested in the M3 lip spoiler for e90, and if you can get LCI non-mtech splitters.

Just worried about the quality and fitment. Any photos of the actual parts?

Yellow at least is close to amber and white (for having on the front of a vehicle).

But green and red for example. Illegal. Preference is irrelevant.

Going to make a new thread soon with what group buy items were going to buy.. 10 people per Item.. going to probably do some trunk spoiler first or front splitters... then if that's successful keep getting group buys... been talking to sources in Taiwan and China...
