Call me crazy..

But i love my window tint. So i had my bimmer done too, 35% on the front and 35% on the sides and back. Its not bad at all at night, it actually is nice to have a reduction in oncoming headlights. Of course im biased as my previous cars have had this as well.

Pictures make it look darker than it really is, but its pretty dark.

They are universally illegal, so good luck with the cops.
I'm surprised the tint company even did it for you but heck, they just made money putting it on and they'll make money taking it off as well.

Thanks for looking out for me, but like i said i've had my previous two vehicles even darker with it on the whole front window and no problems. Could be that the police have their front windows tinted here too in their undercover cars. Or that if you do get a ticket and take it to court the judge will throw it out as the tint isn't an obstruction to your view since its transparent. So the tinter will not make any money taking it off...

Yeah 35% is nothing here. I see 5% all the time. I even have a friend with an f150 who has 5% ON TOP OF 15% on top of factory tent. Yeah I don't know how he drives at night

WOWWWWWWWWW.
I don't think I'll ever tint the front and rear windshield on my car, but I'll do 35% on the sides!

only place i see this in every other car is in Lebanon.

ps.
this aint Lebanon! someone hits you and its automatically your fault as you have tints in your front windshield. thats a huge liability for added privacy. your better off painting your headliner black as that will make it darker in your car.

its not that crazy lol...
I have 35% on my windshield, 20% all around on my E92 and barely notice it (see sig pic below). When the sun is shining, it actually is very pleasant on the eyes, and 35% at night doesn't make anything hard to see. BUT I will say that like OP, I'm used to it, I've always had 5% and my windshield done

Automatically? Not to argue, but what law are you citing on that one? It may be a case of contributory negligence, which in certain states could bar a claim, but saying automatic is very strong word in the law

I had 35% all around, 50% in my E92 for 3 years and I wasn't hassled. Lived in Irvine for all those years too.
