10mm Spacer for the Rear: H&R, Eibach, or Rouge E??
Hey guys,
Ok so I have made my mind up: I have 19" CSLs coming in: 19x8.5 ET 40 front, and 19x9.5 ET45 rear. I want to use a 10mm spacer in the rear only. Now the question is... which spacer is the best? Money isn't the issue here. H&R? Eibach? Rogue Engineering (RE)? Other? Last edited by MichaelATL; 01-06-2007 at 12:05 PM.. |

I don't have any of these yet, but I was leaning towards the RE. They are a little more $$ but they come with bolts. I wish I knew if any, if not all were forged or billet ?

yeah I heard Rogue was good. The others come with bolts too though.
i really want the strongest ones because the weight difference isn't that much of an issue. |

I just ordered H&R 10mm spacers for my 19x9.5 40et rears. They do come with longer studs.

So 12mm RE are the most durable for a minimum spacing?

This is useful information. I have 9.5" rear wheels with et of 40, and running Michelin PS2 275/30/19. What is the maximum size spacer I can use without rubbing or the need to roll the fenders?

15mm. I ran a 15mm spacer on my e90 for over 1 year with a 19x9.5 et 38 offset. Had stock sport suspension. Never rubbed once. Was even tested when i had a full trunk and 2 people in the back seat. No issues at all. Go with 15mm |

.
For the 335 coupe, I have read that a 30et on 9.5" wheels will be the max you can go on HR sport springs without rubbing. You would be at a 28et which might be ok without rolling or camber changes.
One thing, I was told the HR spacers come with lenthened bolts - this is not hte case. I am going with Rogue. Are bolts included? Who is a good vendor on this site and how much would I expect to pay for 10mm spacers? |

10mm Rogues?
19" CSLs coming in: 19x8.5 ET 40 front, and 19x9.5 ET45 rear that will give me a 9.5 inch wheel with a net ET35 offset which is 15mm wider on the outside than stock... should be aggressive enough and leave room for a drop in the future |

It looks like Rogue Engineering (RE) is your choice.

I'm running a Rogue 15mm spacer, no issues. I have a crappy 8.5 wide, et40, so that's why I went with a 15mm spacer. Should be running a 9.5 rear, but I already had the rims and didn't want to buy new one's. They are CSL reps that I had on my E46, I swapped them over to my E90 and used the Rogue spacers on the rear. I would go with Rogue.

I have RE 10mm spacer in rear...looks great! I just got them last week...so obviously no issues yet. I did hear from some members here that they had h&R and they cracked. RE comes with the correct size bolts....but they are NOT black You can't really tell for the most part...but some people are anal about things matching and all....so I guess you go get them spray painted matte black or something.
You can get them for $120 retail +shipping. I got mine from a member selling his for something like $90 shipped.
