Drag strip at 6000ft + 90*+ heat = beating m5's and m6's

Dont laugh at the times, or the traps, you can see that it sucks up here, haha.

We had a guy bone stock run a 13.9 at 100 and our best was on V4 with DPs, FMIC and race gas at 13.4 @ 108.889

The JB3 guys were doing pretty good too, traction issues aside, 13.7 @ 104 I beleive was the best there, but kept trapping around 102+.

Didnt see the BEST times for the m5 or m6, but the ones I saw spoke volumes about NA cars in this crap conditions. 15.xx at 96 for the M6 (vert and his wife but cmon, that aint THAT much) and 14.9 at 98 for the M5 (again, they may have gotten better, thats what I saw).

So yea.....turbos at elevation = only way to be.

It was Bimmer This... His car is damn quick, just spins at the line and he'd easily be quicker if he had some drag radials.

my best trap still can't break past 104mph but then again I'm an XI.

V, nice runs buddy.

Yea...with some drag slicks or stickier tires that thing would really fly.

Its no joke, I was baffled at it. I mean they didnt get the BEST launches, but still, should have trapped at least 100 you would think. I felt alot better about how my car is at this elevation after seeing that.

Not sure if it was one of the new mustang gt's or last years, but think it was brand new, I saw it go 13.9 at 101 only, and those are supposed to be 'monsters'

I was the one that trapped 109 mph. If only I could get traction today. I was doing a burnt right off the line. 2.4 60 fts will not get the in the 12's. I was moving fast on the last run of he until I hit limp mode at half track and misfired past the 1/4 mark. These new maps have so much torque!

Pretty sure the guy in the m5 was was pretty upset too. I would be too if cars that cost half (or if you got it used like me 1/3) of the price were beating my ass down, stock no less, run after run.

I was amazed by the Jeep SRT-8. 14.5 at 95ish almost every run. Pretty badass for an SUV.

Did you take logs during any of your runs or have a boost gauge?

Now you guys know how I feel! Living up in the mountains has its drawbacks. Best I ever got with my 335i was 14.0 and I cant remember the trap, but it wasnt good.

unfortunately, I didn't log anything because 1) I forgot my MAC at home and 2) I've never log any run/pulls what-so-ever so I wouldn't even know how to set it up. V4 users have a boost gauge to built in to the fuel gauge now. Kind of cool Craig.

Sorry Matt, if it makes you feel any better, I'll think about you when I use it!

So did you look to see what you were boosting on the 108mph run?

Nope, was too busy looking at the RPM gauge so I don't redline. But, I talked to Matt last night and I guess his autotune feature adjusted down to 11psi that day? IDK? I think Matt set ours to boost 14 psi but nothing above 15 psi.

I had mine set not to go above 16.5psi, but I went nowhere near there. I think you are probably boosting more than Matt if you are hitting 108mph, that's why I was curious.

Looks like the DPs are a great mod for us here at altitude.
