Map toggle switch with jb3

So I have this JB3 unit that I recently purchased. I know it is a old unit because it comes with the map switch toggle switch, and I was wondering how it worked. There only two settings up and down haha. I know it is a gen 2 board and it supposedly it has 1.4 chip. So I was wondering if there is a way to find out what map it is and because it is a gen 2 board can i do the gas pedal map switch? Anyone have link to what maps are what and how to with the pedal?

Thanks
MK

That all is pretty obsolete. Upgrade to the G3 board and 2.0 for $65 and toss the toggle switch as its no longer supported.
