Mix 50/50 white vinegar and distilled water in a spray bottle. Mist over the spots and buff off with a soft cloth.

It won't harm the paint but I would wash it after and reapply wax or sealant. It just desolves the mineral deposits that cause the white spots.

You can try the 50/50 vinegar, I doubt it will work.

Next step is to get out the old Porter Cable buffer...

Sprinklers are generally worse then rain as they usually have iron or other minerals in the water.

I fear sprinklers more then I fear a rain storm, especially with jet black.

Chemical guys makes a product http://www.detailedimage.com/Chemica...medium=organic

I have had some luck with it if the water spot didn't etch into the clear coat - if this product or a little vinegar left on the spot for a while doesn't do the trick, they it has etched the paint and will need polished out.
