hmmm vomit inside your car or outside? oh my bad, you said somebody vomitted in your car.....
I experienced that in my car long time ago.... since it was not leather seat, I cleaned with it water first, vacuum it and sprayed upholstery/carpet cleaner foam on the seat, and finally opened all the vehicle windows for 2 days.... by that time, i encouraged myself to drive again ![]() Last edited by AH; 01-08-2007 at 05:19 AM.. |

I'm assuming one of your friends was drunk off their ass since you posted this at nearly 5am. I'd slap them upside their head and tell them to take it easy next time. Drinking = fun, drinking way too much = not cool.

Have them fix it with a toothbrush and then have to use to the toothbrush to brush their teeth. It wont happen again.

My 6-year-old threw up in my car the first week I had it. I didn't slap her upside her head, make her brush her teeth with a nasty toothbrush or any other similar solution. I did, however, put her to bed and put a cool washcloth on her forehead and sat with her until she started feeling better. Think I might have encouraged her to do it again?
Just clean it with a water and then some leather conditioner. |

Unfortunately, I've had experience in this area too. Cleaning's the easy part - it's the smell that's tough to get rid of. I'd suggest cleaning then using baking soda in the car for the next several days if there's any remaining smell. the leather conditioner will help too.

303 fabric cleaner for the carpets/cloth seats. I got the concentrated version to remove water stains in the upholstry of my ceiling. I was instructed to dilute it 5:1 all the way down to 2:1(2 water/1 303) I ended up doing 3:1 and it took the water stains right out. I did the mixture in a spray bottle and never threw it away. Two weeks later I did my first interior detail. I had light staining on the floor mats and some how one stain on the back area between the rear seat and rear floor(its carpeted). I initially used a brush to "agitate" the mixture on the floor mats, but didn't like how the floor mats were starting to look from the brush(maybe the brush was too stiff). I just took a regular MF towel(not plush) and rubbed the stain. Came right out. Great stuff.
These were the instructions I was given: I would definitely try 303 fabric cleaner. Remember to start diluted and use as directed (so spray the area then remove with a damp cloth), it's water activated so the damp cloth is important. After that just blot dry and repeat as needed; that really should do it. If its on the leather/dash then Z9 followed by Z10. Z9 is incredible and took out all the scuff marks on my door lip and pockets on the door. Z10 conditions it after that. Good luck |
