Unsure which I should get for my e90.

No, I don't have angel eyes in my car. You can try looking through this comparison thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=335303
One thing I have learned from being on here long enough is to not get the RD angel eyes if you want them to be visible during the day.

I've heard the opposite about the mtec's haha. I haven't seen the lux 5.1's in person yet, but they look nothing short of fantastic in all the pictures that various members have posted up. I picked up a set of mtec's for $140 ~5 months ago and have been very happy with them. Like the lux 5.1's they are a pure white color that perfectly matches the stock xenons in our headlamps and they are very visible during the daytime (even in direct sunlight with no cloud coverage). I don't think you could go wrong with either set to be honest.

edit: I actually don't remember whether it is the lux 5.0 or 5.1 that has a pure white color. I think one of them was revised to have a very light hint of blue similar to how the lux 4.0's used to be? I'm sure a lux owner can clarify that pretty soon.

LUX

I have had LUX 5.0 installed for over a year now. They are great! Very bright, clean white color and visible during daylight. The best part is they're reliable... and I've got them on all the time as daytime running lights.

I have MTEC V2 and would recommend it to anyone. I am glad I went this route.

any aftermarket angel eye can void your warranty if something goes wrong with the headlight, the dealer can blame the aftermarket angel eyes. Happened to a friend on mine.

I like the crispness of the mtecs...its just crisp and clean white that can be easily seen during the day but its not like having on flood lights like other angel eyes which look tacky to me..but works for others.

It's hard to say.. I think it's more of a personal preference. I have LUX 5.1 and I like it. But if I have MTEC, I'm sure I would be saying the same thing.

I checked some pix of MTEC and they look good too and it's $50 cheaper...
