love the gurgling sound my exhaust makes :)

For the last several months, I've been absolutely loving the gurgling sound my exhaust makes when I slightly take my foot off the pedal at higher RPM's. I suspect, and am pretty certain, it has something to do with the addition of the JB3 and the golf-tee mod. Never made that sound before, nor did the exhaust sound as loud, as mean, and just... cool Many times people will pull next to me and ask me what aftermarket exhaust I have on there, and they are surprised when I tell them none. The funniest was when an S4 pulled next to me and said, "your car sounds cool, but at the end of the day I wanted that 50 extra horsepower" (and grinned). It's like someone hit him over the head with the hammer when I told him for about 600 bucks my cars running close to 380, without having to really modify anything

Sometimes I find myself letting off the throttle just to hear that gurgle, it makes the car sound so awesome. Maybe some don't agree, but am certain there's nothing wrong with my exhaust because as soon as I plug back in the wire for the flap in exhaust, or put my JB3 at stock mode (when I take my dad's SUV sometimes he's "stuck" with driving my car lol), the noise is gone and the car sounds too freakin quiet.

I've never been a fan of loud or aftermarket exhausts, but I feel like this just gives it that little edge without it sounding like a ricer or a tastelessly modified bimmer. Anyone relate?

No offense, but this reminds me of the old rusted dropped Hondas sounding like lawn mowers around my neighborhood. Sound != power. Silent but deadly = win.

You should still get an aftermarket exhaust..it sounds that much better IMO...

OEM exhaust gurgle FTW!

I did the golf tee mod too (the pinch clamp version actually) and it totally increased the gurgle. I used to get it really only in 1st gear but now I get it pretty much any time it's at the right RPM range on deceleration. I don't even have a tune lol

really? i guess the tune just makes it more pronounced then, because even when i turn the tune off and the golf tee mod is on, i can barely hear it. thats how i know if my tune is working actually lol.

really? this sounds so much cleaner than a ricer though, i would agree with you normally as i don't like the way any aftermarket sounds, but this just makes it a little more pronounced and rougher. what about an m3 then? it literally SCREAMS as you push it... or even if you don't lol.

Probably would sound better with a resonator, a dual wing spoiler, and hubcaps which keep on spinning when you stop.

Gurgle FTW, although I wished it was more pronounced even still. Its alot more noticeable with golf tee mod.

Thats the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Doing the golf tee mod sounds nothing like a honda. Get your facts straight.

Defiantly has something to do with the golf tee mod. It opens up the exhaust flap right when you start it instead of keeping it closed until 2k rpm
