You should have seen my facebook homepage while it was live on TV...everyone was like posting stuff about how slow and crap the police were...I mean seriously they spent all that time trying to open the front door and then open the rear in a matter of seconds, WTF? And a 14-year old got killed, I thought the guy let all the children off... RIP.

they are stupid enough to line up next to the bus not realizing the emergency button is right next to them and a simple pull will open the door..and i dont get why they have to waste time to hammer the front lights of the bus... its just totally unacceptable

Very very tragic outcome. The most infuriating thing was that the lives lost were avoidable. Had the Manila police knew what they were doing (was was properly equipped for the job), this bloody end should never have happened. It reflects very poorly on the Manila police and will no doubt cast a negative image for the country. Which is sad, since Filipinos I talked to are generally friendly and hard-working. Their government and police however, are known more for corruption and incompetence, with deadly results, as this horrible incident demonstrates. My condolences with the victim's families and friends. May they find strength and belief to overcome this trying period.
