My first time posting here, although I've been lurking for a while. I sold my 2003 Subaru WRX Wagon before having to go overseas for work for 15 months and I am dead set on getting a 330i e90 sedan (ZSP/6sp of course) when I get back. I test drove it a bunch of times before I left and loved it. Anyway, I'm returning to the US in fall of '06, meaning that I'll be ordering in the July/August timeframe. Any idea when the 2007 model is coming out? I know they rolled out the e90 in May. Do you guys think the '07 model will be out in May '06? Also, do you think the same deals will be out there? I had an offer on $1000 over dealer invoice (that included MACO) on a 330i ZSP. Do you think those deals will be around in 6-8 months? I know it's early to be thinking about this, but if anyone will understand, it's the other members on this board. Anyway, stay safe and I appreciate any info you guys have. Thanks.-------ZZ

They usually roll out brand-new designs in the spring, and then new model-year cars after the summer factory shut-down in the following years. (ie, technically any E90s produced before September would be 2005 models, but BMW is marketing them as 2006 models because they are all-new. This is also why there are price and feature changes for September production cars.) In the future model years, the E90 will roll over model years in September, when the factories tools up after their summer break. Therefore, the 2007 E90s will almost assuredly start on the production line in September 2006.

As for deals, they will only get better the longer the car is on the market. You'll probably be able to get invoice+$1000 from the same salesman when you shop for a 2007. If you're lucky, the deal will get even sweeter.

Will any new features or options be available for 2007? I know it's early, but wondering if anyone has heard anything.
