I just lost my daily carry pocket knife(Beretta Airlight I) a couple weeks ago while on vacation in Vegas. Had it over 10 years and not happy about losing it. Looking to replace it with the same or a Colt AR-15-K. Any good websites?

Go with something new . My Beretta used to be my daily carry until I got the CRKT. I'm loving the CRKT. A much better and more practical knife than the Beretta, but they are both great.

Buck Adrenaline, have had it for a few years and love it. its light, strong and ridiculously sharp because its anodized aluminum. I have a few others but this is my favorite. |

I'm glad to see there are other knife enthusiasts/users on here.
I wouldn't reccommend buying a pocket knife for your primary self defense tool unless you are trained, but you want to see some wicked ones so here you go... Uploaded with ImageShack.us cutleryshoppe.com and yourcornerstore.com generally have the lowest prices. also, bladeforums.com is a good place for more opinions. My favorite brand is Spyderco, but also check out Kershaw and Benchmade for sure and maybe others like Cold Steel or Kabar. BTW my first knife was a Spyderco Delica Wave. It opens as you pull it from your pocket, so it's ready faster than any switchblade. |

How exactly does it open as it is pulled from your pocket without cutting your pants or whatever? |
