That's everything you need for the exterior. If you want to treat your leather, I think they also have a kit that includes the leather cleaner and conditioner.

Z8 is pretty cool, but it is a bit unncessary.

But yes, your all set!

I am liking the Z-8 on my Space Gray. You have to work fast with it, but the results are incredible. I may try diluting it some distilled h2o to keep it "open" longer next time.

Mark, I went the Klasse route and did everything by hand(thinking about buying PC for next time)

Can you post some pictures of your car right after the Zaino detail with the Z8 just for comparison? I have a Space Gray 335i coupe as well. The SG looks great, but as I said before it was like wow, not WOW!!!

Thanks

To the OP: you got everything you need in that kit

I'm debating whether to get Z8. Actually planning to place an order tonight / tomorrow. I'm hoping to see a shiner look to my Arctic. It looks "wow" after a wash + Z6 but I'd like a WOW!!! too

Plus with a long roadtrip coming up Z8's extra protection might be useful.

I have used the Z6 and Z8 now for 18 months with MB 06 325i. The Z6 is great for quick cleaning or right after washing to keep the dust and minor dirt off. The Z8 (and it does not take much) is excellent and is beautiful on the blue. Gives the car a rich look. Both protect the car extremely well but Z6 is cheaper for frequent use when you expect the car to get dirty in short order.

Also, try the soft towels and wash mits by Mequiar. The towels are excellent for buffing the Zaino wax or Z6/Z8. Get about six or so to prevent frequent washing of the towels.

I'm not familiar with zaino. I know there will be directions but want to get an idea how long this will take me sat. I'm willing to start around 10am and work until I get 3 coats on.

see the sticky up top of this section. It has directions that are very, very helpful and are also very detailed on using Zaino products as well.

You'll be done somewhere around 2pm-4pm. A long time. But at least you'll enjoy the shine and won't need to do it again for six months or so.

Ok Started at 10:00am Heres what I did:

Wash w/ Dawn (Hot Water)

Claybar the entire car. I thought it was clean...there were lots of little blemishes I couldn't see, I felt them though when claying.

Used MR Clean car washer to spray off entire car with filtered water.

One coat Z5

One coat Z2

Z6 Gloss Enhancer

Another coat Z2

Z6 Gloss Enhancer

Another coat Z2

Waxed Rims

Cleaned all windows

Dressed tires and allweather mats

Cleaned and polished chrome tips

It is now 5:45pm

Here's some picts:

Very clean, but what's up with the smudge in the middle of the pics?

Oh wait, that's on my screen from my chocolate cake

Wow, that was a long time. I hope I can get my wife to do all that. After all, it is her car

Ok so it is now a week later....there has been rain an snow an d salt around here. the car still looks pretty good but I took 1/2 hour and did the following

California Duster the whole thing
Z6 Spray on, wipe and buff
Clean Windows
Clean Rims
Dressed tires

It looks like it was just Zaino'ed .....I'm really impressed with this stuff. Before Zaino, I'd have to wash and etail the whole thing again. 1/2 hour and it looks perfect again!!!!!
