335xi suspension lifespan

Looking around on the net and I can't seem to find any experiences with the lifespan of the stock 335xi suspension.

I drive around DC everyday and all the way out towards the bay... the road can be rather unforgiving at times - or so it feels with RFT's. Has anyone had their shocks/struts fail on this vehicle yet?

Just curious. Thanks.

your rft's are the problem...i'm running staggered 19s w/ non rft tires and the ride is soooooooooooooo much better than my oem 18's w/ rft tires.

Thus I sold my OEM 189's to finance my set of dedicated summer wheels/tires because I already purchased a dedicated set of 18" winter wheels/tires right before last winter.

I'd switch out to non-rft's ...only problem is that I've already had 2 tire changes due to road dmg or a nail - thank you 84 mile commute m-f. Those rft's have saved me a few times already... not bad investment, imo. rft vs. missed day of work.

I'm not quite ready to switch those out just yet - my question was primarily suspension related.
