Long Beach BMW detailing special.
Ok, so I've taken my car to Envious Eric to get my car detailed. It was a one step polish after clay bar. It looked great. He dusted the interior as well.
I was at Long Beach BMW the other day though and they have a $150 detail thing where you get a 3 step polish and clay bar, plus interior cleaned/shampooed. The engine also get degreased. That's cheaper than Eric and it sounds like more of a real multistep polish. Anyone have any experience with this service? Thanks. J |

if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Many people can vouch for Envious Eric...

You can see the details of the detail here...
http://www.longbeachbmw.com/specials/service.htm# Again, I've used Eric and he did a good job...about the same as when I did it myself and took 7 hours. I did a one step with him and it was $200. He took 7 hours too. |

(wash, clay, touch-up small paint/rock chips, 3-step compound/polish, glaze, seal, carnauba, remove/clean wheels, de-rust and paint hubs, interior, etc.) IMO, I wouldn't let a dealer 'detail' my car. I don't care what the details of the detail say. Who knows how experienced the guy doing the work is. |

i don't know eric, but $150 for one step + clay is very reason and $150 for 3 steps doesn't sound right... as many have posted... you get what you pay for...
