I am getting pretty much the same car but black leatherette not beige. Do yourself a favor and really really look at the beige leatherette. I feel that the black leatherette looks much better and will hold against time much better. Beige leatherette tend to look plasticky sometimes.
I am with you as far as the premium package. If you don't have to have leather the premium package isn't worth the money (for me, to each his own).

true true - ive had 3 beemers and always had premium package.
on this forum im seeing a lot of users opting out of this package...maybe BMW needs to standardize some of these toys....and still offer the package in another form..via cost... |

Honesty I really dont see how Beige interior got so popular. It's not my choice. I went with Red and thats probably equally unattractive to other people

I am not a leather fan either, I have not seen one clear picture (or in person) of the tight stitching I think they should have, and a nice even pull on the material. Every seat I see has waves, mainly on the upper side lumbar area. I also don't get premium pkg. Sport and Nav are musts (once you have Nav, you can't live without it). The others (bluetooth, assist, CA) are not bad stand-alones. I'm sure you will enjoy your ride especially when it has everything you need, and nothing you don't. Just do me a favor, find a beige interior with that light wood and be sure that is what you want. I'm not feeling the wood combo. My first choice would be brushed aluminum (no fingermarks), then the natural.
Best of luck and good luck with the wait. It's killing me.
