How much did it cost you to put on Film Protector?

I am Brisbane Australia, I was quoted for :
AUD$889 or approx US$700 to put on 3M or VentureTape which includes front/rear bumper, partial hood, mirrors and fender.

Is this a reasonable price?

I paid $700 for the Venture Shield. I had bumper, 24" of hood and mirrors. I had a great installer and it looks perfect. It was worth the money to me.

$585 USD for VentureShield.

Did the front bumper, fog lights, head lights, mirrors, fenders, and hood.

I'd ask him to include the headlights. Why are you having the rear bumper done?

$700 or less is a good price for Venture 24" hood, headlights, mirrors and bumper.

Had mine done by Ryan at Autopaintguard. The guy is absolutely brilliant with that shit. Sapphire black and absolutely perfect.

Highly recommend getting it done.

Not sure. Maybe to protect it from minor scratches.

No, I was told it would not. A few other forums members indicated that they were pretty happy with 3M brand. But most installer that I found in Australia recommend VentureShield brand.

I find over time that the vinyl can trap some contaminents and will obscure the light a bit. I didn't bother getting the headlights done. I uses a little bit of plastic polish on the headlights every so often and it keeps them looking good. I also think there is a little bit of "gassification" that occurs from plastics that gets trapped between the headlight lense and the 3m (or whatever). This is why headlights get a milky film on them over time.
