I want ANGEL EYES! :(

Just purchased an 07 CPO 328xi without Xenons. The one thing about my car that confuses me is the headlights and no matter how much I read and read and read I don't understand so PLEASE bear with me and don't troll.

If I do not have Xenons what do I have? Halogen?

If I have Halogen or anything other than Xenons can I convert them to Xenon?

How do the OSS and Lux kits work? Do I need to have Xenon housing or will they work in my non-xenon (Halogen?) headlamps.

Can I get Angel Eyes without Xenon?

I am so lost....

Please PLEASE clarify these things for me!

I JUST WANT ANGELS!!

If you don't have Xenons then you have Halogen.
There are two basic types of Halogen headlights (in Europe and probably in States) : The one with Angel Eyes (known as LCI headlights) and the other without Angel Eyes (Pre LCI headlights).
There are also differences in the lenses (projectors or not) and blinkers.
All the OEM Xenon headlights come equiped with Angel Eyes.
The only way to get Angel Eyes (if you don't have already) is to buy a new pair of headlights (Halogen or Xenons). Unless you open the housing and make a lot of modifications.
You can replace the Halogen bulbs with an aftermarket Xenon conversion Kit (High Intensity Discharge System including bulbs and ballasts) but the result won't be the same as the original manufacturer's equipment.
The Lux kit you mentioned is a replacement for the genuine angel Eyes bulbs, it changes the color temperature and the luminosity of the existing rings.
Hope that helps!

A lot of this information is incorrect. First of all, pre LIC lights do have Angel eyes. Just only the Xenon ones. You can also get Xenon by doing a Xenon conversion.
Furthermore, you don't need new headlights to get Angel eyes; you can just retrofit the halos in your headlight housing with a company such as OSS. LCI lights would cost around 1,700 with the install. If you have any questions on how to go about any of this feel free to PM me.

Another choice for you is to buy some 3rd party headlamp housings. A few vendors sell Euro spec housings (clear corners) with projector beams that you can install HID bulbs and ballasts and do an HID conversion as well made by DEPO.

I opted for the US spec SAE DEPO projector housings and put HID kit in there. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Just get the Depo Projectors. You can get them from JleviSW
