Ipod transfer to computer

Hey guys, I just bought a new computer. How do I transfer songs from the ipod to the new computer? Is there a program I can download? I am looking up on youtube, but none of the videos show Windows 7.

Do you have the old computer? You could always buy a Windows transfer cable and hook the two together to copy all the files off the old HDD to the new one.

But here are two links that may help:

Apple and iTunes are so fucking gay.

It's so moronic that I can't just go to My Computer -> iPod -> and then copy music/movies/pics back and forth from that folder.

iRip is the best. I think it was like $10 or something like that. Well worth it! I sure as hell didn't want to download 1k+ songs again.

I use PodView. It just rips the songs directly from you iPod onto the computer.
