Need a favor - e92 aero lip height difference
Hey guys - I am thinking of putting on the aero lip, but am concerned I will rub on my garage entrance; it's a 13 degree slope, and right now I do not rub on H&R sports, but I know it's close. I *think* the aero lip may only be a few cm lower, which would rock; but if it's like 2 inches it'll be a no go. If someone who has it could check for me I would really appreciate it.
Thanks! |

I have the aero kit. The lip extends only slightly below the bumper, that is why it it fits with the stock side skirts so well.

With sport package, stock tires and suspension, WITHOUT the Aerolip, the front bumper has about 7.00" of clearance.
WITH the Aerolip, the bumper has 6.875" clearance. 1/8th of an inch is the difference. It doesn't actually hang any lower, it's just the additional width of the lip material. Measured before and after a couple of nights ago. |
