It is literally so easy that you don't need a DIY. there are couple of self tapping screws that you need to line up and use a small drill to make the lead hole and screw in.

However, the tricky part (if at all) is getting the grille and the snorkel out to make sure that you have clearance to work on them.

I will try and look for a good DIY on that.

here is a picture of it on our 1er. it is nice and stealthy.



I am pretty sure that there are no plans to make them RED and i don't even know if that is possible as this is not made of metal but from injection molded plastic. the smoothness of the inside is what really differentiates the Macht Schnell scoops and also one of the reasons this cannot be painted or powdercoated and dyed.
