Front vibration problems - Eibach

Anyone have this issue? Ive been dropped on Eiback Pro-Kits for aboput a year. However, around 80mph I get a slight vibration. Ive had my wheels rebalanced twice, however, the vibration remains. Front left in particular. It's not bad when under load (foot on the gas), but very noticable when just coasting (no gas). I think it has something to do with the front susp & not the wheel/tires.....

On a 2006? One of your front control arm bushing is shot, or your wheel bearing is on its way out.

Damn, I think you may be right. Any tips on how to tell if either one is bad??

If it's the bearing, when you lift up the front end you will be able to slightly wiggle the wheel when holding it at the 12 & 6 position. If it's the control arm bushings, usually when you brake from high speed abruptly the car will jerk in one direction or another.

to OP, have you tried "road force balance" yet? it happened to me too, and first 2 times were the regular balance and couldn't get that right, today i had the "road force balance" and it fixed the vibration.

I have similar problem lately too. Do the shop know what we mean if we tell them we want road force balancing? Or is a specialty shop thing?

most of the shop should have the machine to do it, i did mine from les schwab tires. its basically is a balancing machine, but one the wheel starts spinning, there's another roller will make contact the the tire and will put pressure onto the tire surface and try to bring it as "on-road" condition as possible to measure the balance.

I finally got around to "road force" balancing my fronts. Did not fix the issue, however, it did help some. Car does not pull to one side or another during hard braking, so not thinking control arm. Which leads me to the wheel bearings. Although, I do not "hear" them going bad at all. Even after I stuck my head out the window driving like Ace Ventura going slow down my block. Since I dont have a jack low enough to fit the front of my car I cant check for slop side-to-side...

Could the bearing still be shot even if I cant hear it?

If your car is so low that a jack can not clear the front jack point, then it's the whole suspension. It's been lowered PAST the roll center and no amount of balancing will ever fix it.

I meant the jack I currently have doesnt fit under the front, one of those smaller, cheap 2-1/2 ton'rs. Im in the process of getting one of those new 3 ton aluminum racing jacks, should clear np.

Also, the spring footing looks solid. My front left quandrant still vibrates slighty. Any Ideas? Other parts may be worn/bad?

Do you have wheel spacers? Those can cause the wheels bearings to go bad. But as people have said, a bad wheel bearing will sound bad and it's noticeable. Also check your inside tire ware on the front. If you have worn inside front shoulders, you'll get vibration at high speed.
