does bastuck exhaust get louder when broken in ?
just installed the bastuck dual exhaust on my 07' e90 335i. i'm alittle disappointed by the sound difference from the stock golf tee modded exhaust. sounds almost the same.any experience with it getting alittle louder after a few miles?

it's not a loud exhaust. mine got a lot louder once i put in 3" catless DPs.
Personally, i think the output from bastuck + stock midpipes/dp was perfect. classy without being too "LOOK AT ME!!" |

yes, it does get a bit louder over time. When i installed mine, it was quiet (just the way i liked it). Then, over a few weeks, it got louder, not huge but louder.
i'm running CP-E catted DP's with resonated midpipes. |

it does get a bit louder over time, i was a little disappointed when i first got the muffler installed too. once i put on catless midpipes it really opened things up and it got quite a bit louder, i love it. i cant wait for catless downpipes

I have the bastuck exhaust, with riss racing midpipes, and an x pipe in the middle. When I 1st got the exhaust, it was almost close to stock. Now with over 15000 miles on it, its a tad bit louder. I have a 335i sedan. Kinda disappointed as it sounds nothing like the coupes on youtube. It's not loud at all. You really have to push the car to hear it. My friend with a e92 with golf tee mod said his car sounds louder than mines.... Perhaps its the xpipe? When I had the stock resontor, it would drone around 2k.

I Had Catless On My Car With Stock Exhaust And It Made A Great Power Difference. I Decided That Worrying About Loosing My Certified Warranty Wasnt Worth It Though, So I Removed Them And Put On The Bastuck Exh. Instead. May Go With Midpipes Though. What Brand Is Perferred.
