What is Buffer Launch Supply
This is listed on my order as an option (the last and one I don't recall choosing or being asked about):
998 Buffer-Launch Supply What is it? I found it listed as an option on a new car for sale at Baron BMW, a dealer in Kansas (via a Google search). I shudder to think that it is a premium dollar amount added as a buffer due to short supply of cars at a new model's launch.

I suspect it indicates a car that was ordered without an end customer waiting for it, i.e. it was a car brought into the Country to bring stocks up ready for Launch.............. Worth checking the VIn to see if you can find a manufacturing date.
Ask the dealer. They may tell you more. |

That's reaching way out there......but you can't rule out everything.
