Question Replacing OEM Halogen Headlights with DEPO P90

Looking to replace my OEM Halogen Headlights with DEPO P90 with the 4500k or 6000K HID Lowbeams and have a few questions;
  1. I am in Canada with Daytime Running Lights, will the Daytime Running Lights work with the new DEPO P90? If so, what would be on? Will the Angel Eyes be on?
  2. Going to get the Error Canceling Module, are they plug and play? Are they listed per pair or single?
  3. What is the light source for the Angel Eyes? Individual LEDS? From the photos on the site, the Angel Eyes are a yellow, any way to get a white?
  4. Besides the low beam, which is being replaced with HID, all other bulbs remain OEM?
  5. Turn Signal Bulb Socket, need 1 or 2?

1. Yes the DRLs will work. I am in the US and I also have DRL on my E90. The DRLs are the same ones as the OEM headlamps, meaning they use the high beams for DRLs. The AEs will NOT be on for DRL. However, it would be pretty easy to set up an aftermarket wiring harness that will allow the AEs to be on for DRL and allow the other functions, parking lamps and light up when you unlock the doors.
2. They are listed in pairs. So buy qty 1 and you will receive a pair
3. The AEs on the P90s use standard incandescent bulbs. LEDs will need to be purchased separately for them, either as an upgrade from resellers or source them yourself.
4. Yes, all other bulbs are OEM
5. If you get the Euro spec P90s, you will need 2 turn signal bulb holders. If you get the SAE spec ones, you won't need to purchase any bulb holders.

Wonder if the Daeos Daytime Angel Eye would do this?

Edit - Further read the description on the Daeos kit, looks like I need the option to disable my DRL lights on your iDrive or Turn Signal Stalk (which I dont). So would I then need to visit the dealer to de-program the DRL? My understanding is DRL are required by law in Canada, so I am guessing the dealer wouldnt be likely to do this for me. Anyone from Canada use the Daeos kit/had dealer disable DRL?

So could replace the standard P90 AEs incandescent bulbs with something like this from MTEC?

I PMed Nick@Jlevi SW and they will be selling the P90 c/w LED AEs as an option by months end. (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=425623)

I asked the same question before I bought my P90s and the answer is no. The P90s power their AEs by tapping into the parking lamp leads. You can make the AEs run as the DRLs but it would require a custom harness with a relay that signals from ignition or parking lamp lead. And the parking lamp lead signal would only be to light up the AEs when you lock/unlock the car. Otherwise, the ignition would always signal the relay to power when you turned on the car.

No, the AEs on the depo use different bulbs than the OEM AEs. They are twedge 5mm type. Here are some links that cover P90 AEs, bulb types, sources for LED AE bulbs, etc.
