5 point racing harness

is there anyway to install a 5 point racing harness into a 335i coupe with the stock seats?

I don't believe you can. You need the two slots on the top of the seat/headrest in order get them to loop in somewhere and over your shoulders.

If you want to put them in for looks vs safety (i do not recommend) then you can retro fit a bracket that would fit between the headrest and the dear that will allow for the belt to loop into and down the front of the seat. Again this is not recommended and I am only sharing the idea if you want it for a car show or meet.

Good luck. But buy the aftermarket seats. There are good deals on the for sale section of this forum

If you install aftermarket racing seats and harness, what happens with all the electronics built into the stock seats ?

the best way to go is to get the schroth racing harness. can be used with oem seats without any problems. real plug and play and easy to use
