Owner's Circle - Checking Status

How accurate is it to check the status of your ordered car in the owner's circle? I ordered my car 4 weeks ago and it's still showing up as the wrong car. My salesperson told me the car would go into production "any day now" about a week ago. Don't really feel like bothering him at this point.

Any personal experiences with delay time between the car going into production and it actually showing up on owner's circle?

In all reality I should know the answer to this question, but it has been 3 years since I ordered my car and I can't remember lol

Thanks.

Right on!

I ordered a couple of months back, still waiting for the car to arrive, it just left Bremerhaven.

My car showed up with incorrect options for about 2 weeks. It might help to ask your CA what is the alloted week for production, maybe he knows by now.

Try calling the 1800# as well, things may be updated there, though they mostly have older information than your CA can give you. But if you don't want to bother your CA, this is a good option

Owner's circle lags behind in updates, not much useful info that comes in time.

What combo did you order?

I'm waiting for a Le Mans Blue M-Sport E92 335 on Oyster. Called and it's scheduled for production without an exact date

Same here- Le Mans Blue 335i E92 with Oyster/Glacier Trim. The status says that it is scheduled for production with no confirmed date.

When did you order the car?

Mine was ordered on 13th, also a modification of a dealer's allocation... The wait over August factory break really killed me, but I am hoping my car gets an assigned date soon.

I ordered late July and am on track for a mid-October delivery. That August shut-down is brutal.

Well a ship just departed today (the Manon), you may have gotten on that. How long have you been at Bremerhaven waiting to get on a ship?

If you didn't get on Manon then Fidelio is the next one leaving on 9/22. Even if you're on the Manon you're still looking at at least 10 days to make the trip to NJ and another few days to get through VPC and to your dealer.

Rats, I don't know if I can keep living like this till November... calling the 1800 number everyday (including weekends), and bugging the CA. I think my CA hates me now.

In this context, it stands for Client Advisor, aka your salesperson. In another related context, it stands for Comfort Access.

I have the exact same status on my car. I hope you are right because this wait is getting painful!

Today I got this message from the 800 number: "Your vehicle production is complete and is waiting to be released to the carrier"

Ordered on 8/30. Dealer traded another dealer's allocation as none of my dealer's allocations could be turned into an 328xi so he had to trade one from CA.

I'm TX so I wonder which port and which boat I should be watching for.

Update. I made it on the Tamesis which left Bremerhaven yesterday and is scheduled to land in Baltimore on 9/29. I'm hoping the car will make it to my dealer in MN by Columbus day weekend!

The Owners Circle is usually pretty slow in updating. My last order was usually a few days or up to a week behind once the car started production.

Id just keep up with your CA's estimate of delivery.

Today's message: "Your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit"

Sounds like things are moving along...
