The risk is they wont fit.

RR has horrible fit out of the box

Also if it is the v1 you cant get the o2 sensors in as the bungs are in the wrong spot

I got RR V1's and the fitment was terrible. The hardest part for me was the turbo clamp on the longer pipe. Other than that, the O2 sensor hits a heat shield which you need to kinda bend out of the way and you have to remove a little bracket towards where the dp's connect to the mid pipes. It was a bracket for the stock exhaust rear O2 sensors.

Performance wise they are great. I could really feel the car pulling harder and the turbo's spooling faster!! Good luck with your install man

You better tread carefully with these RR pipes...Seriously even if they were a steal, if you encounter bad fitment while installing them, you will be cursing that you didn't spend the extra money and get the ones that fit perfect! Although its a straight forward install, its quite challenging if your doing it yourself.

Ill just have someone else do the install then.I dnt feel like going threw any headaches.I have a friend you installs for a good pricce and does good work.he use to work for active so im just gonna hand it over to him and let him have fun. Also,Is installing the downpipe fix difficult?

The problem is not performance as obviously once any dps are on the power is increased...The problem is that he might encounter a set where it just doesn't fit at all especially if he gets a pair from the batch that the O2 bungs were welded entirely wrong...Being that he is getting it at such a BARGAIN price, I would tread carefully if I was in his shoes! Sometimes things that are too good to be true are indeed epic failures!

It is hit and miss

I have a RR exhaust on my 135i and while it was not perfect I had no issues putting it on.

But buyer beware, if they dont fit you are SOL

If they are only $250 then I say go for it but like I said, you are taking a gamble.

I talked to the guy he said fitting them was hard but that the 02 sim was in the right place so im guessing its just gonna be a hard install. He also told me he has an aftermarket riss racing o2 sim,.He said it removes of the CEL..Is this true or do i still have to buy a dp fix??

it all depends on what software version you have for your DME as the older generation 02 sims no longer prevent cells....

If your just changing out the DPs without aftermarket catback exhaust you should be fine with no cat codes, but if you eliminate all the cats entirely you will need a DP fix....Its what version of the o2 modifiers you need...like I said that is dependent on the software version that your running on the car....If its an older version program on the DME you should be good, but if your car was updated to the latest program the older ones will not work!

Do they specify a different for the 1er? If they do, then you have a chance of them fitting okay since all your buddies with E8x have them. But if they're the same ones they put on the E9x, then it's 50/50.

Because I have a E90 and their fitment is kinda crappy to be honest. I have the version 2 catless DPs, and those are the ones I'm speaking of.
