I have tried two different lease calculators and I am coming up with the same number. The dealership is giving me an entirely different number that is $30 higher.
The deal: 335is Coupe - 15k miles/36 months MSRP: 57325 Sale price: 51760 (includes mako, destination, training, everything) Residual: 57% Money Factor: .00150 Sales tax: 8.65 No cap reduction. I'm getting a monthly payment of $721. Dealership is quoting me invoice claim $753. The dealer is a highly respected one on this forum. Can someone plug my numbers into their calculator to see if they're getting what I'm getting? |

Did he give you those numbers in writing? Or did he just say he was giving you those numbers? I plugged in your numbers and I get $713.60 / month.

He did not give me the break-down. He just sent me a form which shows the sales price of the vehicle vs MSRP, the lease terms, and the lease payment but not the lease calculation. You're fairly certain your estimate is accurate? I feel guilty asking him to show me the breakdown but $35+ a month is a substantial difference over 3 years. |

If they didn't quote you the money factor they may be reducing the sales price and making it up on an increased money factor. They have some play allowed in that number. I think they can jack it .0004 if they so desire.

Yea, I'm using an excel spreadsheet but you can check the numbers.
When you say "everything" in sale price, does this include registration, license, 1st month payment, maco, training, etc? Will you be paying any drive off fees? Or absolutely nothing (which means the fees were rolled into the lease) Also, I optioned out a 335is with MSRP of $57,325, the invoice is $52,740. So I think that sale price is wrong. (Carprices.com) ___Calculations___ MSRP: 57325 Sale Price: 51760 Residual (57%): $32,675.25 Monthly Depreciation: $51,760(Sale Price) - $32,675.25(Residual) = $19,084.75 / 36 months = $530.13 Monthly Interest: $51,760 + 32,675.25 = 84,435.25 * 0.00150 = $126.65 Base Monthly: $530.13 + $126.65 = $656.78 Monthly Tax: $656.78 * 8.65 % = $56.81 Monthly Payment w/ Tax = $713.60
