Aftermarket Downpipes for 335
Anyone using either the Macht Schnell 3" or AR aftermarket downpipes?
Will they throw codes due to the O2 sensors? Also will I have problems with emmissions? I have already orders a Eisenmann Race Exhaust system. Thanks in advance |

Yes, essentially all downpipes, unless otherwise stated that they have cats, will throw a catalytic converter deficiency code which essentially means you just don't have any primary cats in the system. For turbo cars though, getting rid of the cats, there is a very decent gain you will see from doing this, so it's certainly worth the error code. There are things you can do to get rid of it, but you wont be able to pass smog. Once smog comes around, make sure to put the stock ones back in.
And if you need a set of those MS Downpipes, I've got forum pricing for you guys, so contact me! |
