I have used Wood extensively over the last 2 years since buying my car from. Overall they are pretty good but they have done quite a lot of work on my cars interior and the result has not always been up to my very exacting standards. However they have always rectified the problem and apologised profusely. The Service Manager (Quasimo) is one of the nicest blokes that you will ever meet.

Having said that they never managed to completely resolve my squeaking "A" pillar although the car is always absolutely immaculately clean in and out when I pick it up.

I had my car in for an Inspection Service on Friday which was their big chance to sting me for new brake discs and pads however they said that they were fine. I was very impressed by their honesty as an Indie told me earlier in the day that they needed doing.

During the purchase of my 325d I was told that I would have 12 month touble free motoring as the car would be fully serviced before I picked the car up, what actually happened was the car was inspected and I only had 2500miles before my next service, the salesman was adamant that BMW do not service before the cars require servicing. So less then eight weeks into my car purchase I require a service, I don’t know what type of service as I am new to BMW.

If I had screwed the salesman at Wood Oidium on the price of the car perhaps I might not feel too bad about it, but as it was I was within £50 of the full asking price.

So I am a little reluctant to spend more money with the Wood group .... as dare I say, I feel they lied to me.
Thanks boyd 1963 for the reply.

I think that I'd be tempted to try Westerley. I was a bit p*ssed off with my servicing as well. I had to have the brake fluid changed 7 months earlier than I expected because although the car was registered in Feb 08 it was actually built in Jul 07.
